Advancing Research and Development in the Medical Technology Industry.
Since 2004, I have been exclusively engaged in new product development, beginning with my Master of Science in Engineering from Aalborg University, specializing in integrated product development. As of February 2021, I have served as the Project Manager at Guldmann A/S, focusing on the development of medical ceiling hoists. My role involves facilitating innovations that enhance patient care through sophisticated lifting solutions. With my experience at Coloplast A/S in the medical industry and project leadership at VELUX A/S, I apply my expertise to advance healthcare technologies.
As project manager in 2023, I led a major update to the GH3+ patient ceiling lift, already the market's most sophisticated model, reinforcing Guldmann's industry leadership.
Guldmann is a Danish-based company that works with the development, manufacture, and sales of welfare technology for people with reduced capabilities, and work tools for those who help and care for them.
As technical project manager in 2019, I played a key role in the development of the Top Hung INTEGRA Electric Roof Window.
For over 80 years, the VELUX Group has been creating a better indoor climate by bringing daylight and fresh air into homes and other buildings around the world. Founded in Denmark, the VELUX Group is today an international company operating in 35 countries.
As a newly graduated design engineer in 2005, my first professional assignment was to innovate the classic VELUX curtain. Rethinking something so basic and minimalistic posed a great challenge, yet it was immensely satisfying to contribute a solution and patent the double-roll system that enhanced its aesthetic balance. This design is now surprisingly prevalent in homes worldwide.
As a mechanical engineer in 2012, I designed the mechanical inlays that define the Sensura MIO Convex series—a true study in form, fit, and function, developed in close dialogue with users. It was a very personally rewarding experience.
Coloplast develops products and services to ease life for those with personal medical conditions. Engaging closely with users, the company offers sensitive solutions in intimate healthcare. Coloplast, operating globally, employs about 14,500 people and offers Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Wound & Skin Care, among other services.
